Suede products need extra protection, so see below how to take care of them:
1. Avoid to wear your pieces during a rainy or snowy day. If that happens and your piece becomes wet, let it dry naturally. If there are any little spots, dab them with a dry cloth.
2. Gently brush, with suede brush, your items regularly to keep them soft and clean. Alternatively, you may wipe them with a clean cloth. When a suede item gets exposed or dirty it tends to harden.
3. Use a suede brush to lift away any dust and dirt and, if a little extra help is required, apply a short burst of steam.
4. Light oily or greasy marks can be lifted out by applying cornflour overnight and gently brushing away the excess afterward, while for tougher stains, it’s advisable to use a dedicated suede or nubuck cleaning solution.
5. Store your suede items in their dust bag.
